BIZARRE BIZZARE ART ​FUNDRAISER

The first art fundraiser was organically created by members last year. It was full of ​amazing artwork made by members, for members and raised $600!

If you would like to donate art for the bizzare ​you can mail it to:

The bizzare will be on display at the convention you can choose to add your name ​to your art or remain anonymous.

FRIDAY

Higher Power, We Have a Problem: Admitting We are the Problem and Finding a Solution | Friday ​11/15 at 4:15 for 75 minutes

Keep the focus on yourself, stay in your lane, is it in your hula hoop? Luckily if we are the problem, if we ​see we are sick ourselves, we can accept the solution - which is our guidance system through the ​space of recovery. There are so many ways in which we work to keep the focus on ourselves - ​especially when things go wrong. This workshop will focus on us and our problem so we can find, be, ​and live in the solution.

Interplanetary Peace - Unity and Tradition 1 | Friday 11/15 at 4:15 for 75 minutes

Tradition 1 tells us that our personal progress depends on Unity. This workshop will help us explore the ​spiritual principles in Tradition One, how they impact us, our relationships, our meetings, and our lives. ​We will work on living these principles in all our affairs.

May the 4th Be with You (Step 4) | Friday 11/15 at 7:30 for 90 minutes

Focuses on guiding participants through the process of conducting a thorough inventory in Nar-Anon. ​Using the Nar-Anon 36 Step Workbook as a resource, attendees explore their emotions, patterns, and ​resentments, gaining insight into their own behaviors and identifying areas for personal growth and ​healing. The workshop provides a structured framework for self-reflection, accountability, and clearing ​the way to a relationship with our higher powers.

Starlight Meeting | Friday 11/15 at 9:15 for 60 minutes

A serene and reflective gathering that provides a space for participants to find solace, hope, and ​healing as we connect with our Higher Power.. The workshop takes place in a candlelit setting, ​fostering a peaceful and introspective atmosphere. Through sharing personal stories and shares, ​attendees can connect with their inner selves, find support from others, and draw strength from the ​collective wisdom and experiences of the group.

SATURDAY (1)

Spot that Alien Defect (Steps 6 and 7) | Saturday 11/16 at 10:45 for 60 minutes

Sometimes our character defects feel like aliens in our bodies and sometimes we feel like aliens when ​we act them out. This workshop will help us see how our Higher Powers can remove our character ​defects once we see our patterns, causes, and conditions.

Bet Uranus I Love Service | Saturday 11/16 at 10:45 for 60 minutes

Service is one of the three interconnected pillars of our program. It can bring us joy, growth, fulfillment, ​and camaraderie. The workshop aims to inspire and engage participants by showcasing what we love ​about service including: contributing to the fellowship's growth and well-being, fostering a sense of ​unity and connection among members, and giving back what we have so freely been given. Through ​interactive discussions and shared experiences, attendees gain a deeper appreciation for the positive ​impact of service and discover ways to contribute while enjoying the process.

Antigravity of Making Amends (Steps 8 and 9) | Saturday 11/16 at 1:00 for 60 minutes

Steps Eight and Nine take us to a new dimension where we have a clean side of the street because we ​did what we needed to do to get it there. This workshop will help us jet away from the fear of these ​steps as we look at the spiritual principles involved, the ways different folks talk about them, and the ​difference they will make in our lives.

3, 2, 1 - Blastoff (Steps 1-3) | Saturday 11/16 at 1:00 for 60 minutes

When we travel to the 4th dimension of living we start with steps one, two, and three. This workshop ​will take us through the we can’t to HP can and finally into I think I will let HP. Explore the spiritual ​principles in these steps and the questions we can ask ourselves as we move through them. They set ​the stage for everything that comes after so join us to work on a strong foundation.

One Small Step for Humans and One Huge Step for Recovery - Sponsorship (Steps 5 and 12) | ​Saturday 11/16 at 2:15 for 60 minutes

Sponsorship is a gift of the program for both sponsors and sponsees. Are you looking for a sponsor? ​Working with one? Have you been told you are ready to sponsor but don’t know where to start? This ​workshop will explore the nuts and bolts of sponsorship in Nar-Anon.

Take Me to Your Leader - How to Get People into the Rooms (Step 12) | Saturday 11/16 at 3:30 for 60 ​minutes

Outreach and Twelfth stepping are about attraction rather than promotion. Lean into the spiritual force of ​bringing the program to those who still suffer and exchange ideas, tools, principles, and practices to meet ​our primary spiritual aim.

Principles Eclipse Personalities Keeping Meetings Healthy (Traditions and Concepts) | Saturday 11/16 ​at 3:30 for 60 minutes

Healthy meetings with lots of recovery, service, sponsorship, energy, happiness, joy, and freedom are the ​goal. But how do we do it? This is a hot topic in Nar-Anon across the world. Come together to brainstorm, ​share, learn, and practice.

Put on Your Oxygen Tank -Setting Boundaries and Detaching with Love | Saturday 11/16 at 4:45 for 45 ​minutes

Boundaries are a big thing in recovery and yet they are often misunderstood or scary. This workshop will ​help us define boundaries and detachment, see where they fit in with the Steps and Principles of the ​program and how our HP can help us to find them, set them, and live with them in peace and harmony.

Getting Back into Orbit when Your Rocket Ship Breaks Down (step 10) | Saturday 11/16 at 4:45 for 45 ​minutes

Step 10 is a way of taking stock of the moment, the day, our recovery, and our spiritual fitness. It helps us ​to see who we are and how we are acting, what we could have done differently, and what we need to let ​go of. This workshop will bring together different 10th Step practices and the hows and whys of this ​essential growth step.

Journey down the path of support and encouragement with your fellowship with you all the way. ​Members will guide you through this life-changing exercise of trust, love, and spirituality.
